Moto G54 Gets a Major Price Cut in India: Is It the Best Budget Phone Now?

If you're considering a budget-friendly smartphone, the Moto G54 might be the perfect choice. Launched last year, both versions of the Moto G54 have now received a price cut. This smartphone boasts an FHD+ display and is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity chipset.

New Pricing Details

Motorola introduced the Moto G54 to the Indian market in September of the previous year.

The smartphone was originally released in two configurations: 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage, priced at Rs 15,999 and Rs 18,999, respectively. The 8GB variant has now seen a price reduction of Rs 2,000, making it available for Rs 13,999. The 12GB variant has received an even larger price cut of Rs 3,000 and is now on sale for Rs 15,999. The Moto G54 is available in Mint Green, Midnight Blue, and Pearl Blue.

Moto G54 Key Specifications

The Moto G54 features a 6.5-inch FHD+ display with a resolution of 1080x2400 pixels. The display has a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness level of up to 560 nits. A layer of Panda Glass provides screen protection.

This Motorola smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7020 chipset. It is available in 8GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB variants, with storage expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card.

The Moto G54 operates on Android 13 with Motorola's My UX interface. It includes a dual rear camera setup featuring a 50MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with an f/2.2 aperture. The front camera is 16MP with an f/2.4 aperture.

Additional features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance. The phone is powered by a 6000 mAh battery and supports 30W fast charging.
