Colombo has been allocated 11 round-robin matches, including four of Sri Lanka's games. As a neutral venue chosen to stage Pakistan's league matches, all games in Colombo are scheduled as day-night affairs, starting at 3 PM IST.

The Sri Lankan team will have the opportunity to play in front of their home crowd against Australia (October 4), New Zealand (October 14), South Africa (October 17), Bangladesh (October 20) and Pakistan (October 24). The ICC previously announced that Colombo remains an option to host semifinal 1 (October 29) and the final (November 2) if Pakistan qualifies for the knockout stage.

The defending champions, Australia, will begin their campaign on October 1 against the reigning T20 champions, New Zealand, at the Holkar Cricket Stadium in Indore.

The highly anticipated match between India and Pakistan is slated for Sunday, October 5. The following Sunday, October 12, will feature another blockbuster clash between India and Australia in Vizag. India will conclude their round-robin matches against Bangladesh in Bengaluru on Sunday, October 26. On the same day, 2022 runners-up England will face New Zealand in Guwahati.

The top four teams from the round-robin stage will advance to the semifinals. The first-place team will play against the fourth-place team, while the second-place team will take on the third-place team.
